Finalists Announced for the 39th Edition of Arrasate Literary Contest

A total of 379 works were submitted, with 23 young individuals selected as finalists across various artistic categories.

The 39th edition of the Arrasate Literary Contest received 379 submissions, from which 23 young participants have been selected as finalists in various categories.

The competition featured six main categories: narrative, illustration, written verses, micro-stories, poetry, and comics. In each category, several young talents stood out, showcasing their creativity and skill.
In the narrative section, the finalists were Alaia Rodriguez Ondarra, Nora Eguia Larrañaga, Maria Barrutia Zenigaonaindia, Malen Arribas Carrascal, and Lia Guedes Hernandez. For illustration, Maria Barrutia Zenigaonaindia, June Leibar Belinchon, Itoitz Herrera, and Alday Moros were highlighted.
In the written verses category, Maria Barrutia Zenigaonaindia, Maia Zaitegi Uriarte, Ur Agirre Ramila, and June Arrese Arietaleanizbeaskoa were chosen. In the micro-stories field, Elaia Jauregi Ibabe, Paulina Henao Henao, Nahia Valenti, Nahia Garro, Intza Ezpeleta, Kerman Petralanda Garate, and Mahnoor Mahnoor made it to the finals.
For poetry, Mahnoor Mahnoor, Miren Ugarte Morón, Nora Roldan Guirao, and Kerman Petralanda Garate were recognized. Finally, in the comics section, Mahnoor Mahnoor, Abdul, Atxart Busturia, and Elene Ormaetxea Artola were the finalists.

The AED organization extended its gratitude to all participating young individuals and the jury members. The jury comprised teachers from Arizmendi ikastola Santa Teresa and Gaztelupe, educators from Arrasate Public School, teachers from Arrasate Institute, and other experts.
