The Berriz Town Hall has organized a three-activity program to showcase work in favor of the LGTBIAQ+ community and promote equality. The initiatives began last Sunday, September 20, with the screening of the documentary 'La misteriosa mirada del flamenco' and a subsequent discussion.
The remaining two events will take place during the month of October. In the first fortnight, from October 1 to 15, the photography exhibition 'Ni naiz naizena' will be on display in the exhibition hall, organized by the association Gehitu. On the 25th of the month, the children's play 'Izena duen guztia' will be presented in the Hall of Mirrors at Agirre Palace, at 5:30 PM.
The council emphasized that work for diversity should not be limited to specific dates, believing it to be a commitment that should be demonstrated and worked on daily. Therefore, it has called on citizens to participate in the organized actions aimed at raising awareness of LGTBIAQ+ realities and promoting equality and respect.
