The Eskoriatzako City Council has opened the application period for grants aimed at lighting systems in rural areas, which will remain open until October 30th.

The bases for these grants, published in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa, are intended to finance the energy consumption of lighting points installed on the exterior of buildings that are isolated from the main areas of rural neighborhoods and lack public lighting.
The main objectives are to illuminate the main entrance of the building and to signal it. Eligible expenses must correspond to the consumption of the year in which the call is made and meet conditions such as being lighting points installed or authorized by the council, illuminating entrances of residential or general use buildings (hermitages, neighborhood premises, etc.) registered in the cadastre and isolated from the main neighborhood area, lacking external public lighting, and ensuring the lighting point's activation system functions.
The grant amount will be 30 euros per lighting point. All detailed information, including how and where to apply and the required documentation, can be found on the website: eskoriatza.eus/tramiteak/dirulaguntzak/landa-guneetako-argiteria-sistementzako-dirulaguntzak-2026/.
