SD Eibar has taken a definitive step in consolidating its sports project with the development of its Areitio Sports City, transforming it into the new operational hub that centralizes all club activities.

Eibar has made significant progress in solidifying its sports project with the completion of its Areitio Sports City. This complex stands out not only for its training fields but also for its two main buildings, designed as the true operational engine of the club.
Areitio addresses a historical need: to move beyond reliance on external facilities and to have its own space, designed from scratch to cover all areas of the club. With two distinct buildings —the Grandstand building, already operational, and the High Performance building, in its final construction phase—, the 'armero' entity has managed to centralize its activities with modern and functional tools.
The Grandstand building, with an area of 3,815 square meters distributed over three floors, is now fully operational and is primarily oriented towards youth football and the women's team. Its basement houses key facilities such as the gym, study room, laundry, warehouses, offices, and medical consultation room. The ground floor concentrates up to 17 changing rooms, in addition to a sports equipment storage area and a workspace for technical staff.
Meanwhile, the High Performance building, exclusively for the men's first team, is now facing its final construction phases. Its structure replicates the three-story model but adapted to the needs of professional football. The basement houses the gym, water room, changing rooms, medical services, a rest area, and a video room, all key elements for player performance and recovery.
Both buildings have been designed under criteria of efficiency and sustainability, complying with the Technical Building Code and incorporating systems such as aerothermal energy, solar panels, and accessibility measures. The proximity to the complex's five fields allows for agile and coordinated operations, facilitating the simultaneous work of all categories.
