Eibar City Council has finalized the redevelopment works on the pedestrian walkway connecting Mekola and San Juan, following an investment of 433,269 euros.

The project has transformed one of the city's most used pedestrian routes. The works included a complete renewal of the pavement, improvements to accessibility, and the replacement of urban furniture.
Underground infrastructure has also been modernized, including sanitation, water supply, and rainwater drainage systems. New planters, benches, and trash bins have been installed to enhance the area's functionality.
The project, carried out in an area affected by Euskotren railway domain, required complex technical coordination. Throughout the execution, access to residential buildings was maintained to minimize disruption to daily activity.
