The Mutriku City Council is preparing for the summer season by tendering the canteen and bathroom services for its port and the beaches of Ondarbeltz and Saturraran.

The tendering process has been divided into three distinct lots. Selected individuals or companies will be responsible not only for operating the bar-cafeteria service at each location but also for ensuring the comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of public restrooms, at least once a day.
At Saturraran beach, food trucks will not be available this year, as the bar that operated for years closed due to environmental reasons. Instead, a canteen similar to those typically found at Ondarbeltz will be installed. Additionally, the successful bidder must oversee the sensors of the wastewater tank control system to regulate its emptying.
For the award process, the Mutriku City Council has established a 100-point evaluation system based on quantifiable criteria. The economic offer will account for 45% of the score, while the competitiveness of product prices will contribute 20%. Another 20 points can be earned based on activities organized to enliven the space (music, theater, literature) and the economic investment allocated for these.
The remaining points are allocated to environmental criteria, with 10 points for promoting sustainability and respect for the environment in the activity's development, and an additional 5 points for the project's social criteria.
Interested parties can consult all documentation and tender specifications on the Mutriku City Council's contracting profile. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 20.
