Gipuzkoako Ursa has commenced infrastructure improvement works on the potable water supply network along Kilimon Avenue in Mendaro, replacing fibrocement pipes with polyethylene.

Gipuzkoako Ursa initiated works last Wednesday aimed at enhancing the existing infrastructure for potable water supply on Kilimon Avenue. Specifically, the operations are taking place near numbers 13, 15, and 17 of the street, focusing on the network that serves the surrounding residences.
As explained by the Mendaro City Council, the ongoing works, carried out by personnel from the company Excavaciones Ekin, will involve the removal of the current fibrocement pipes, which will be replaced by polyethylene ones.
Barring any unforeseen issues and if projections hold true, the newly started works are expected to last for about three weeks, concluding by mid-next month, July.
