Roadworks in Errezabal will conclude next Monday in Elgoibar, with painting activities scheduled for that day and traffic managed by traffic lights.

The Elgoibar City Council has announced that the roadworks in Errezabal will be completed next Monday. On the same day, painting will be carried out, and to apply the final necessary touches and restore traffic to its usual state, signals will be used to manage the flow.
As these tasks will be performed throughout Monday, minor traffic disruptions may occur. However, it is anticipated that traffic in the Urazandi neighborhood will return to normal on Tuesday.
These roadworks are related to the stabilization project for the Errezabal residence, a joint initiative by the Elgoibar City Council and the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council. Studies conducted in recent months have provided a more precise understanding of the ground's behavior, enabling the determination of the most suitable actions for the environment: the construction of two additional screens, one to stabilize the area near the residences and the road, and another to reinforce the overall stability of the slope.
Piling work is also progressing, with continuous monitoring systems tracking ground behavior.
The council extends its gratitude to the citizens for their understanding and patience during the roadworks. Furthermore, it has stated that residents of Urazandi will continue to be informed about the process's evolution with complete transparency and proximity.
