The day combined physical exertion, beautiful landscapes, and the camaraderie that defines this route, inspired by ancient stories and paths of Navarre. From the very first kilometers, the group entered a particularly attractive environment, alternating tracks and trails that gained altitude between wide pastures and robust beech forests.
Along the route, they encountered natural obstacles caused by strong winds and snowfalls in recent months, which had brought down numerous trees onto the path. This forced the mountaineers to overcome several complicated sections during the ascent.
Gradually, the landscape opened up until reaching the summit of Ireber, at an altitude of 1,196 meters, one of the day's highlights. From there, the participants enjoyed extensive views over numerous Navarrese mountains, a panoramic vista that compensated for the effort accumulated during the climb.
After descending from Ireber, the route continued towards Ernaitzu, another peak that allowed them to link further mountain sections in a very varied itinerary. As the day progressed, the landscape transformed. The initial large beech forests gradually gave way to extensive oak groves, offering a different image of the surroundings and accompanying the group through the valley change.
The trek subsequently reached the summit of Seanbe, another unique point of the route, before beginning a long descent through ancient trees and wooded paths. During the descent, participants even had the opportunity to approach Beruete, although the group ultimately continued towards Jauntsarats, the final destination of the stage.
Once in the Navarrese town, the mountaineers were able to admire one of the most striking elements at the end of the route: an enormous, ancient chestnut tree with a spectacular trunk, which has become one of the natural symbols of the village. The stage concluded after approximately six hours of walking and about 22 kilometers of travel, leaving a very positive impression among the participants. With this new journey, the 'Trabuko Bidea' continues to consolidate itself as one of the most attractive proposals on the Club Deportivo Eibar's calendar, uniting mountains, landscape, and history in each of its stages.
