The program will focus training on industrial mechatronics and machining, highly demanded fields by local companies. The objective is to improve the labor market insertion of 15 unemployed or precariously employed individuals from the municipality through tailored pathways.
This initiative is part of the Eibar Employment and Local Development Plan 2026-2030. It aligns with planned actions for the qualification of the unemployed, using training pathways adapted to the real needs of the local business community and high-demand sectors.
The City Council decided to repeat the experience following the positive results of previous editions. In last year's program, 30% of the 15 participants secured employment through a contract, and 40% continued their education. The overall student satisfaction rating was 9.64.
This 10-month program includes technical training in mechatronics and machining, skills in forklift operation, and emotional well-being competencies. It will also feature at least 80 hours of company internships and ongoing job placement support. Training will take place at Armeria Eskola facilities, starting next month.
To participate, interested individuals must be registered residents of Eibar, be unemployed or in precarious employment, and be registered with Lanbide. Adequate comprehension and written skills in Spanish are essential, and prior professional experience or knowledge in the industrial sector will be positively valued.

The registration period will be open from September 21st to October 2nd, inclusive. Interested individuals can register in person at Pegora or electronically via the municipal website (www.eibar.eus), requiring a digital certificate. Applicants must submit their ID, a Lanbide registration period report, employment history, and an updated curriculum vitae.
