Ertzaintza agents have arrested two men, aged 35 and 27, in Llodio, suspected of being responsible for at least four forced entry robberies in farmhouses in the Oleta neighborhood.

This morning, Ertzaintza officers detained two individuals in Llodio, Álava. The men, aged 35 and 27, are believed to be the perpetrators of at least four forced entry robberies reported in recent days across various homes in this Alavese town.
Between March 27 and April 1, four robberies were reported to the Ertzaintza, all occurring in farmhouses located in the Oleta neighborhood. Investigations revealed an identical modus operandi: the assailants gained access to the houses by forcing shutters and breaking windows with hammers and other tools, always when the residents were not present.
All evidence gathered pointed to the same individuals carrying out these criminal acts. Subsequent inquiries led to the identification of the two men, aged 35 and 27, as the alleged individuals involved. Following necessary confirmations this morning, Friday, both suspects were arrested.
The arrested individuals have been transferred to police facilities for the appropriate procedures before being presented before the Judicial Authority. The investigation into these incidents remains open.
