The Aiaraldea Cuadrilla, in partnership with Altzarrate Kirol Elkartea, has reiterated its dedication to advancing women's sports within the region by organizing the II Women's Football Tournament “Aiaraldeako Kuadrilla”. This sporting event is scheduled for October 3rd, commencing at 9:30 AM, at the football field in Altzarrate.
This second edition will feature participating teams such as Hakusaitz, Altzarrate, C.D. Lauro, and San Prudencio, promising a day focused on camaraderie, competition, and increasing the visibility of women's football.
Iñigo Pinedo, President of the Cuadrilla, emphasized that "women's sports must occupy the place it deserves, both in our facilities and in the social and sporting agenda of the region." He expressed pride in supporting "this second women's football tournament" alongside the local club.
This initiative underscores the Cuadrilla's commitment to equality, the promotion of healthy habits, and the creation of opportunities for girls and women to engage in sports and realize their full potential.
Pinedo encouraged the public to "come to Altzarrate on October 3rd, enjoy the tournament, and support women's sports with their presence." He added, "Together, we will continue building a more egalitarian, active, and sport-committed Aiaraldea."
