The competition, themed “Saborea Laudio” (Taste Laudio), is organized by the local merchants' association APILL for the fourth year, with support from the City Council. Residents can sample a wide array of pintxos showcasing the quality and creativity of the area's hospitality businesses.
APILL's manager, Claudio Pérez Bardeci, encourages customers to participate in the popular vote to select the best pintxo. Voters will be entered into a raffle for prizes totaling 1,000 euros, to be held on June 2nd at the Apill headquarters.
To participate, consult the information portal for contest details and submit your coupon at participating venues before 10:00 PM on May 31st. Coupons must be stamped at a minimum of five establishments, one of which must be located in the outskirts. Pintxo prices range from 2 to 3.75 euros.
Tasting days are today, tomorrow, and Sunday, as well as from May 29th to 31st. The event will be complemented by street entertainment provided by regional cultural centers.
This weekend, the Galego Center celebrates Galician Literature Day, honoring the journalist and feminist writer Begoña Caamaño. Next week, a new edition of the Festival Cultural de los Pueblos will take place, with María Ángeles Arbaizagoitia, president of ASASAM, serving as the opening speaker, recognized for her dedication to mental health.
