The Laudio City Council and the pool management company, Ebone, have reached agreements to improve operations, combining service quality and working conditions.

In response to incidents at Laudio's public pools in recent weeks, the City Council and the managing company, Ebone, have made several commitments to improve operations. The pools had to be temporarily closed on multiple occasions due to inadequate chlorine levels or the discovery of feces, causing public concern.
The company Ebone has issued a statement apologizing to citizens for the inconvenience caused. To address this situation, the City Council held a meeting with the company and a representation of the workers, aiming to enhance service quality and working conditions.
Three main commitments have been agreed upon. Firstly, on days with bad weather or rain, the pools will close at 8:00 PM, while on other days, they will close at 9:00 PM. This measure aims to balance service quality with improved working conditions for employees, adapting to weather conditions.
Secondly, the City Council will act as an intermediary between the company and the workers to facilitate communication and ensure the follow-through of agreements. Lastly, the company Ebone commits to ensuring the full provision of the service, supplying the necessary technical and material resources and ensuring employees can perform their duties under the best possible conditions.
The City Council has expressed gratitude for the constructive attitude of all parties involved in the meeting and emphasized the shared commitment to continue providing and improving a quality public service for the citizens.
