Yesterday evening and into the early hours of the night, the Ertzaintza carried out a lengthy intervention, lasting over an hour, at the Arrankudiaga train station. The operation was prompted by a fight, as confirmed by the police themselves.

The incident affected Renfe's service, as a train remained stopped at the local station. Consequently, all regional rail traffic had to be routed through a single track, causing significant delays.

The Ertzaintza's press office has stated that it will issue a statement once all information regarding the incident has been gathered.
