Renfe has organized customer experience forums with users of the Bilbao and Donostia commuter train networks to enhance service quality.

Renfe has organized customer experience forums with users from the commuter train networks of Bilbao and Donostia, aiming to understand the complete travel experience from the customer's perspective. These forums have gathered insights into how users experience their daily interaction with the service.
The meeting took place on May 12th at Tabakalera in Donostia and on May 14th at the Abando station in Bilbao. Participants were selected by lottery from those who registered, seeking a balanced representation of regular and occasional travelers, including users from different areas, services, and realities along the commuter train routes.
As is customary in the forums Renfe organizes for its commuter networks, the company meets with customer groups of these public services to gain insight into the comprehensive travel experience. To this end, it pays special attention to the perception of traveler information, incident management, signage, accessibility, and the attention received during the journey. Through these dynamics, Renfe identifies real needs and proposes measures to improve the travel experience.
Additionally, the public company Euskotren, under the Basque Government's Department of Sustainable Mobility, will strengthen its train service on Saturday, May 23rd, to facilitate travel to the Fish Market in Bermeo (Bizkaia). Specifically, the E4 Bermeo-Matiko (Bilbao) line service will be reinforced between Gernika and Bermeo in both directions, from approximately 10:45 AM to 9:00 PM, with 12 additional services complementing the regular schedule.
