The Gernika-Lumo Culture House has opened a call for applications offering 5,000 Euros to support local music creation and projects.

The Gernika-Lumo Culture House has launched a new call for financial aid to foster musical creation and support local groups and associations. The initiative has a total budget of 5,000 Euros, to be distributed among proposals that meet the established criteria.
These grants are aimed at associations, musical groups, and individuals involved in music-related activities with an impact in Gernika-Lumo. Supported projects can include the recording, production, or editing of musical works in physical or digital formats, as well as related communication and dissemination materials.
To be eligible, applicants must be registered residents of the municipality. For groups or associations, at least 50% of their members must be registered locally, and their regular activity must be linked to one of the town's musical spaces.
Applications can be submitted until November 19th at the Culture House offices or via its website (www.kulturagernika-lumo.eus). Required documentation includes the applicant's ID, a descriptive project proposal, budget, and bank account details.
Beneficiaries will be required to commit to participating in a concert organized as part of the Arbolapean music program within the year following the grant award.
