Due to safety conditions at sea, swimming is prohibited this Sunday on six beaches in Bizkaia.

As reported by Cruz Roja Bizkaia (Bizkaia Red Cross), the beaches with a red flag flying are La Arena, Barinatxe, Arriatera-Atxabiribil, Bakio, Toña, and Laida. This means access to the water is forbidden. Consequently, bathers are advised not to enter the water and to always follow the instructions of the surveillance staff.
Additionally, several beaches in the territory have a yellow flag. This indicates that swimming is permitted, but with caution. This situation affects the beaches of Las Arenas, Ereaga, Arrigunaga, Gorrondatxe, Laidatxu, San Antonio, Laga, and Karraspio.
On the remaining beaches (Muriola, Plentzia, Gorliz, Armintza, Aritzatxu, Ea, Ogella, Isuntza, Arrigorri), swimming is allowed.
Throughout Sunday, the water temperature will be around 18 degrees Celsius, while the air temperature will be around 28 degrees Celsius. High tide is scheduled for 4:41 PM and low tide for 10:51 PM.
