This production has a strong connection to Donostia, as a portion of its development took place at the 2deo laboratory in Tabakalera, and it received support from Larrotxene Bideo and Donostia Kultura. Furthermore, the production team includes several professionals from Donostia, such as actors Aizpea Goenaga and Iñigo Aranburu, and technician Aitor Perez.
The fictional short film explores the daily lives of four women who meet every morning on the same bus on their way to work. During the ten-minute journey, conversations, silences, and small gestures take on a special dimension. The narrative highlights the idea of sisterhood and collective support, revealing the subtle yet significant relationships that emerge within routine.
Based on natural everyday conversations, it addresses issues such as precarious working conditions, caregiving, aging, loneliness, and gender inequality.
The project was developed by students of Audiovisual Communication at EHU and was made possible thanks to a grant from EHU Kultura. Filming took place over three days, from January 30 to February 1. Following the premiere, the creators are exploring the possibility of presenting the short film in Donostia.
