Olaso participated in the Euskadi Master Championship in Durango (Bizkaia), competing in four events and winning a medal in each. She emerged victorious in the F55 category for the 400m, 800m, and 5,000m races, and secured second place in the 1,500m event.
Meanwhile, Alaia Romero competed with the Real Sociedad team in the Second Division A of the Spanish club championship, held in Burgos (Castilla y León). The young athlete participated in the 100m race and the 4x100m relay. In the individual race, she improved her personal best (12.85), and in the relay, where she ran the first leg, her team finished second (47.45).
The San Sebastián-based team accumulated 114 points, becoming champions of their category. Thanks to this first-place finish, Real Sociedad will compete in the First Division next season.
Local athletes have further commitments on the first weekend of June. Alaia Romero (100m race) and Amelie Flores from Ostadar SKT (100m hurdles) will face the Spanish U16 Championship in La Nucía (Valencian Community). Additionally, athletes from Ostadar and other clubs will compete in the Euskadi Championship, once again in Durango.
