The men's boat quickly left the other three teams in the honor row behind: Zierbena, Bermeo, and Getaria. The latter fell far behind, already trailing by 20 seconds by the second stretch. Orio progressively widened the gap with the others, and in the final stretch, it was 13 seconds ahead of Zierbena, achieving victory with ease. Thus, Orio adds its fourth trophy of the season.
Regarding the women's race, Orio's result was not as positive. They competed in the honor row but were far behind from the start. By the first turn, they were already 19 seconds behind the Arraun Lagunak team. The latter won the trophy, having secured all victories since the league began. Tolosaldea also performed well, finishing in second place.
Furthermore, in the KAE 1 league, the Orio B team achieved its goal in the time trial held in Erandio (Bizkaia). They finished 11th, ahead of Arkote, with a time of 21:53.11. Deusto won the Bizkaia regatta with a time of 20:24.42, followed by Zumaia and Zarautz.
