The municipal entity Getxo Kirolak has launched its summer activities program, offering a total of 1,620 places at the Fadura and Gobela sports centers during July and August, 120 more than the previous year.

This new range of summer sports courses aims to promote physical activity among different segments of Getxo's population. Special attention is given to children and youth, while also including proposals adapted for adults and individuals over 60 years old.
The registration period is now open and will remain so until May 6. To formalize the application, it is essential to have a subscriber card. Procedures can be carried out both online and in person at the customer service offices. Final allocation will be determined by a lottery, with results announced on May 8.
The children's offerings stand out for their pedagogical and recreational approach. Among the most notable initiatives are programs like Jugueteando, Divertiverano, and Kiroletan, aimed at fostering leisure. Additionally, there are proposals combining disciplines and learning, including daily English sessions and conciliation services for families. The children's options are completed with the Grand Slam, which integrates tennis, paddle tennis, and swimming lessons.
For adults, the offering has been strengthened with a highly demanded modality: functional training. Furthermore, there will be outdoor activities along the coast, such as gymnastics, yoga, and calisthenics, many of which are free of charge.
