Irun City Council and the Basque Government have agreed to establish inter-institutional working groups to advance the IAM pavilion project and address the Txenperenea agreement.

Representatives from Irun City Council and the Basque Government held a meeting to discuss the future of the IAM pavilion. During the session, they proposed the creation of an inter-institutional board to define the next steps and ensure the viability of this strategic infrastructure for the city.
Local authorities emphasized the need for clarity regarding funding and execution timelines, noting that the project is essential for the Bidasoa Sports Club and the local community.
Regarding Txenperenea, the Basque Government committed to presenting a counter-proposal to the municipal agreement by September. A specific working group will be formed to facilitate progress on this land management project.
