A notable feature of the new "Telpark" application is its user service commission, set at 10% of the fee amount, plus applicable VAT. A minimum commission of 0.05 euros is applied, though this figure may be subject to change by the company in the future.
The "Telpark" app allows users to manage regulated street parking via their mobile phones and functions exclusively as a parking meter in designated zones. It is important to note that, similar to "Presto Parking", mobile payments eliminate the need to display a physical ticket on the vehicle's windshield, as enforcement personnel can verify payments through license plate recognition.
The Irun City Council reminds the public that these applications for paying for regulated OTA parking zones are operated by private companies.
