The Irun City Council, through its departments of Works, Maintenance, and Infrastructure, along with Sports, has reported that work will commence this week on the internal elevator of the Artaleku Sports Center. These tasks involve replacing certain mechanical components to comply with current regulations. The elevator's exterior casing will remain aesthetically unchanged.
Consequently, starting next Monday, August 31st, the construction will necessitate a complete shutdown of the elevator. It is projected to be unavailable for sports center users until the end of September.
