The Faculty of Letters in Vitoria-Gasteiz will host the 16th Agroecological Fair of the Álava Campus this Wednesday, April 15, aiming to promote sustainable consumption and local products.

The event will take place at the university campus in the Alavese capital, specifically at number 5 of Paseo de la Universidad, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This fair will bring together stalls, talks, and producers linked to organic and local agriculture, fostering more responsible consumption models.
Organized in collaboration with UNIazoka, this year's fair coincides with International Earth Day. Throughout the morning, attendees will have the opportunity to discover more sustainable consumption alternatives, purchase organic and seasonal products, and engage directly with local producers.
This edition will see the participation of members from various faculties and services of the Álava Campus, including teaching staff, technical personnel, students, and other university groups from centers such as Pharmacy, Letters, Education and Sport, Business, and the Social Work degree program.
Additionally, third-sector and agri-food entities and collectives will be present, such as Slow Food Araba, Zentzuz, Bionekazaritza, Ekolurra, EHNEK, Hazien Sarea, Basaldea, and Eguzki Huerta, among others.
Beyond the stalls, the program will include open talks for the general public. The organizers have also announced that attendees will receive a bag for their purchases and that a basket will be raffled among participants.
This initiative is promoted by the Araba Campuseko Campus BiziaLab Azoka Agroekologikoa project and is supported this year by Justicia Alimentaria and Hegoa.
