Vitoria Commemorates Republic Day with Festive and Demanding Event

Vitoria celebrated Republic Day with a festive and demanding event that brought together dozens of people in the Plaza de la Provincia.

Starting at 7:00 PM, the Plaza de la Provincia became the venue for an open gathering, organized by the Ateneo Republicano de Araba Eraiki and collaborating associations. Attendees enjoyed poetry, live music, and a complimentary pintxo-pote.
During the event, participants advocated for the necessity of a Republic as an alternative to the monarchy. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of peace, respect for international law, and solidarity among peoples.
