La Puebla de Arganzón is set to host Trebiñu Eguna this Saturday, a celebration returning after 28 years to promote Trebiñu's integration into Álava and showcase its cultural identity.

This Saturday, La Puebla de Arganzón will be the venue for Trebiñu Eguna, a festive, cultural, and protest-filled day open to all citizens. The event, promoted by the social movement of the Enclave of Treviño, aims to highlight the need to advance towards integration into Álava and to make visible the administrative situation of the territory, resuming after a 28-year hiatus.

"We gather to make our reality visible, to celebrate our identity, and to collectively demand recognition for what we are and feel: that Treviño is Álava."

The organization · Organizers
This initiative originates from the citizens themselves, seeking to strengthen ties between the enclave's towns, defend their identity, and promote the Basque language (euskera) and culture, within a context of a historical claim widely supported by the population. Throughout the day, there will be activities for all ages: traditional dance gatherings (dantza topaketa), an artisan fair, workshops, inflatables, traditional Basque sports (herri kirolak), a communal meal, bertso sessions, children's activities, pelota games, and musical performances that will extend into the night.
Trebiñu Eguna aims to be "a space for encounter, participation, and collective reivindication, where all the towns of the enclave are also recognized as part of a shared identity".
