One of the year's most anticipated gastronomic events, the Pintxo Week, is set to return to Álava from June 4th to 14th. This year, twelve local establishments will compete by offering the public their finest pintxos, with each costing €3.5. The initiative aims to highlight the talent of local chefs and boost the hospitality sector.
To reach this stage, 16 chefs competed in a rigorous semi-final held at the Mendizorrotza Hospitality School. After a challenging selection process by the jury, the 12 official finalists have now been chosen. Here is the list of participating venues and their featured pintxos:

Organized by SEA Hostelería and Miniature Cooking Experience, the competition will conclude on June 17th at La Peña Vitoriana. In the grand finale, the 12 finalist restaurants will once again showcase their culinary skills live, vying for the title of best pintxo in Álava 2026. However, before the jury makes its final decision, the public's taste on the bars will also play a crucial role.
