Eneko Gaztañaga to compete in the Basque Country Boxing Championship final today in Legutio

The Orio boxer will compete in the elite category, with a victory potentially leading to the Spanish Championship.

Eneko Gaztañaga, the champion of Gipuzkoa, has qualified for the final of the Basque Country Boxing Championship taking place today in Legutio (Araba).

A total of 23 bouts will be held in the Araba municipality. Gaztañaga will compete in the elite category, with fights scheduled to start from 17:00. His opponent for this bout will be Yedri Consuegra.
According to his coach, Ibai Marin, Gaztañaga is "very prepared and full of enthusiasm" for today's match. A victory would secure him a spot in the Spanish Boxing Championship.

"These are very significant achievements, considering everything boxing entails. It's not an easy sport, and reaching this level and achieving these qualifications is not simple at all. As a coach, I am very proud of Eneko and everything the club has accomplished."
