Women's basketball in Álava, boasting over 3,000 licenses, demonstrates robust health, yet Araski's potential relegation to the Liga Femenina Challenge, after a decade in the elite, is causing significant concern.

In Álava, women's basketball is arguably the most popular sport among school-aged and federated girls, with over 3,000 licenses distributed across numerous teams. Araski, CB Araba, Baskonia, and Zaraobe are currently the most significant benchmarks in the territory's basketball pyramid.
However, the work carried out by several schools with a tradition in this discipline cannot be overlooked, thanks to the progress of many girls who are beginning to excel at early ages. Although results in tournaments outside Vitoria are not always exceptionally good, there are sufficient reasons to believe that women's basketball enjoys good health.
This sport also provides an ideal way to develop as individuals, acquire healthy values in life, and strengthen personal growth. Nevertheless, Araski's potential relegation to the Liga Femenina Challenge could be a severe setback, after a decade in the elite that has solidified Vitoria's position as a national reference.
Only two matchdays remain in search of a miracle, and hope is the last thing to be lost for a team that narrowly avoided relegation last season.
