The five municipal properties and the ground-floor commercial unit at number 10 on Cubo street, located in the heart of Vitoria-Gasteiz's Old Town, now have a new owner after their sale was finalized.
The transaction was conducted via direct award, with the new buyer paying a total of 364,924.08 euros, excluding taxes.
The five homes were initially put up for joint tender last June, but the process was declared void in October due to a lack of interested buyers. Consequently, as permitted by law, an announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) to open a direct award process for the lot for one year.
During this 12-month period, any interested party could submit an acquisition offer, provided it met the same conditions as the initial tender. The sole offer that met these formal and content requirements was received last May.
Following the review and examination of the proposal, the sale agreement has been approved. Of the five properties, one is located on the ground floor, while the other four are spread across the first, second, and third floors. Each residential unit has a constructed area of 53 square meters, and the commercial unit measures 90 square meters.
