“"For the Haziak call, we propose that young artists from the city submit their printable works to an open call organized by themselves. After a selection of the works, they will be the ones to paste them on the street during an urban wallpapering day, where they can also learn this technique. For this, we will prepare supports that simulate billboards in the city center and organize an intervention afternoon, thus creating an open-air exhibition."

The seven most outstanding projects from the fourteenth edition of the Haziak youth ideas competition, organized by the Municipal Youth Service, have been selected to receive technical support and financial aid.
This year's Haziak competition has recognized various proposals that promote youth creativity and social contribution. Among the winning projects is 'Nola laztantzen dugu elkar', a publication that will compile the experiences of young people regarding sexuality and eroticism. After collecting testimonials, a public presentation of the booklet will be held.
Another notable project is 'YCOE', which proposes creating an alternative space for exhibiting works by artists from the city. For this, a call will be launched for individuals between 16 and 35 years old, inviting them to submit visual artistic works such as photographs, drawings, or illustrations. The selected works will be part of a collective urban wallpapering action to be carried out on advertising supports installed in La Florida park. This initiative aims to reflect on the role of art in public spaces, beyond galleries and museums.
The theatrical project 'Mesa para 5 (y los que se acoplen)' will bring an original and innovative performance, starring young people from the Alavese capital, to the stages of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Based on surrealist theater, it is performed by a group of actors and actresses under 30 years old. Its objective is to encourage youth to consider theater as a method to transform minds and a means to laugh, away from screens.
The collective cultural fanzine 'Idiota' has also been awarded, conceived as a space for independent thought and free creation for young creators. It seeks to bring together young artists from the territory with different points of view to express their ideas on paper and exhibit them publicly. Its intention is to address taboo subjects and question social values, generating catharsis.
Meanwhile, the 'Meraki' project aims to design a collection of comfortable and practical garments for people suffering from cancer and undergoing long-term chemotherapy treatments. This proposal creates adapted clothing for people in medical treatment, especially for those with PICC lines. These are functional garments, with detachable sleeves and systems that facilitate access for treatments without having to undress completely. The project seeks to improve the quality of life for many people in Vitoria-Gasteiz going through difficult situations.
Finally, the short film 'Lokal Things' addresses the evolution of a society marked by ambition from a youth perspective, and the project 'Mismo objetivo, muchas lentes' seeks to make visible the social reality of people living in Vitoria-Gasteiz through photography. The latter project aims to break stereotypes and prejudices, giving a voice to those who are usually less heard. Photographic workshops and exhibitions will be held for the community.
