Three men, wearing white hats and fake beards to conceal their identities, stormed a sports store in the El Boulevard shopping center and forcefully took numerous Spanish National Football Team jerseys on Thursday. Video footage shows the individuals attempting to hide their faces during the theft.
According to the Department of Security, the suspects changed their clothes in the Zaramaga area. There, an individual took photos of them and showed them to Local Police officers, who recognized one of the involved parties upon seeing the images.
This incident occurred just one day after two other men, aged 26 and 25, attempted to steal approximately 1,000 euros worth of clothing from the same shopping center. In that case, officers recovered the stolen merchandise and arrested both individuals for theft. One of them was also arrested for confronting the pursuing Local Police patrols.
The price of these National Team jerseys can reach triple digits.
