The Environmental Studies Center (CEA) in Vitoria-Gasteiz has published an updated cycling map, incorporating new routes, the Mugibike service, and secure parking facilities.

The Environmental Studies Center (CEA) of Vitoria-Gasteiz has re-released its cycling routes map. Presented in a foldable format, this resource provides updated information on the city's cycling network, including new paths developed over the past two years.
A key new feature is the inclusion of information about Mugibike, the public bicycle rental service launched in December 2025. The map also highlights secure parking spots within the VGbiziz network.
Furthermore, the map introduces the city's "cyclist metrominute," a tool that estimates bicycle travel times between major urban points. 4,000 copies of the publication have been printed, available in Basque and Spanish.
The reverse side of the map offers practical advice for safe cycling, covering basic regulations for both cycling paths and roadways, as well as recommendations to prevent bicycle theft. It also explains the operation of VGbiziz, Mugibike, and the municipal bicycle registration system.
The maps will primarily be distributed among students participating in the safe cycling courses organized annually by the CEA. They will also be available at bicycle shops and the Tourist Office.
