The 38th edition of Magialdia, the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Magic Festival, will take place from September 14th to 20th. This year, a new feature will be a concert merging rap, magic, and words at the Mostrenka hall. Titled Nostalgia y cachondeo, the performance will be presented by illusionists and musicians Paco Agrado and Samuel Tirado on Friday, September 18th.
The festival will host renowned magicians from around the world, including artists from Japan, France, the USA, Peru, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Chile, China, and Sweden. Some of these performers will be making their debut in Spain, such as Arthur Chavaudret (France), Rachel Wax (USA), and Tino Plaz (Switzerland).
Additionally, a documentary about the figure of Juan Tamariz will premiere on Tuesday, September 15th, in a Cinefórum format. The program also includes other festival classics like magic routes, show-conferences, and various galas.
The event will feature four shows in Basque, totaling 13 performances, and will include five female illusionists. Over 20,000 attendees are expected.
Furthermore, a congress activity will gather 450 professionals and enthusiasts from other parts of Spain and countries like France and Italy.
