The Vitoria-Gasteiz Local Police arrested a 37-year-old man yesterday afternoon, accused of a violent robbery on Ortiz de Zárate street after he attempted to steal a mobile phone charger from a store.

The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 PM yesterday, when a patrol was dispatched to Ortiz de Zárate street following a report of a theft and that the alleged perpetrator was being detained. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals struggling and separated them.
According to the information provided, the man was caught attempting to steal a mobile phone charging cable from a display case in the establishment. When the store manager asked him to return it, both began to struggle and fell to the ground.
The Local Police also noted that the arrested individual maintained an aggressive attitude towards both the merchant and the officers themselves. After reviewing the store's surveillance footage, the police proceeded with his arrest.
