The BIZAN centers in Vitoria-Gasteiz have unveiled their summer activity program, offering 104 courses and workshops with a total of 1,450 places, promoting physical and cognitive well-being.

The summer offering includes 30 new workshops, designed to address emerging interests. These new contents highlight cognitive stimulation and memory, digital skills, physical activity, dance, body expression, psychological well-being, and healthy habits.
Additionally, a module on critical thinking and security has been incorporated. Most courses, with 88 workshops, are aimed at people aged 60 or over. These are complemented by 8 generative workshops taught by older adults.
In a third block, there are another 8 workshops for which a BIZAN card is not required, as participants can be younger (in some cases from 18 years old, in others from 35, and in others from 50).

"People who are going to be in Vitoria-Gasteiz this summer or leave for only a period will have many alternatives to enjoy their time, meet people, exercise, or learn new things. Taking advantage of these months to integrate new social and personal habits is especially beneficial. I encourage you to explore the offer because I am sure that anyone who does will find numerous surprises and interesting courses."

Registration for the 104 courses and workshops will be open from May 18 to June 3. Interested individuals can register at BIZAN centers, civic center information services, municipal sports facilities, citizen service offices, by calling 010, or on the municipal website.
These summer activities are in addition to two other programs that run throughout the year: the 18 health parks and the “Activate your neighborhood” program. In these cases, access is free, no registration is required, and they maintain their usual schedules.
