Vitoria-Gasteiz will be filled with flowers this weekend, from May 22nd to 24th, with the celebration of its third Flower Festival. The event will bring color to the city center with decorations in streets and squares, a flower market, guided tours, workshops, children's activities, music, pintxos, and open-air wellness sessions. Under the theme 'Vitoria-Gasteiz City of Flowers', it offers a chance to see the city in a new light for three days.
Florists, shops, hospitality businesses, associations, companies, and institutions will participate in a program designed for all audiences. The floral route will pass through some of Vitoria-Gasteiz's most recognizable spots, including Virgen Blanca square, General Loma street, La Florida Park, Prado Park, La Arca Square, Dato street, Amárica Square, Plaza Nueva, Celedones de Oro Square, and Conde de Peñaflorida Square.
The festival will kick off this Friday, May 22nd, at 7:00 PM in Plaza Nueva, with a performance by Sonia Vera Swing Band. At 7:30 PM, there will be a popular pintxo tasting with participation from the square's bars. Later, from 8:30 PM to midnight, DJ Katana, Demi Rosi, and Mía Salvador will perform.
Before the official start, at 6:30 PM, an official photo will be taken next to the floral sculpture of the Virgen Blanca. Afterwards, a tour of some of the floral decorations will take place. Throughout the weekend, commercial establishments, hospitality venues, service companies, and institutions will decorate facades and shop windows.
On Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the Virgen Blanca square will host the Flower Market, offering bouquets, arrangements, and plants for sale. Additionally, there will be workshops, gastronomic talks, exhibitions, children's activities, and guided tours.
Reservations for guided tours can be made at the Tourist Office (945 161 598). Information and registration for gastronomic talks and workshops are available at [www.sea.es](http://www.sea.es/), via email at hosteleria@sea.es, and by phone at 945 000 400.
