Car fire in Vitoria-Gasteiz's Portal de Elorriaga street causes large smoke plume

A significant column of smoke alarmed residents of the Portal de Elorriaga neighborhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz this afternoon, following a car fire that was swiftly brought under control by the Fire Department.

The Department of Security confirmed to Diario de Noticias de Álava that the fire originated inside a vehicle located on Portal de Elorriaga street, heading towards Aranbizkarra, near the intersection with Joaquin Collar.
The fire was extinguished quite rapidly, and no injuries have been reported. Currently, the cause of the blaze is still unknown.
