The Ribera Alta Town Council, located in the Cuadrilla de Añana, has launched a participatory initiative to recover the municipality's collective memory through old images from family albums.

This project, named Recuerdos de Ribera Alta (Memories of Ribera Alta), requires the collaboration of residents. The Council invites citizens to bring their old photographs related to the municipality, which will be digitized and then returned to their owners intact.
The initiative aims to highlight the visual and intangible heritage of the municipality. It encourages the collection of images related to traditions, trades, tools, people, landscapes, or scenes of daily life in Ribera Alta, using family or personal photographs to help reconstruct its recent history.
The collected material will be used to pay tribute to the elderly and the entire municipality. A special projection will be prepared for the patron saint festivities of San Isidro, which are celebrated annually in the town of Pobes.
