The Re-Think Industry congress, established as a benchmark meeting point for industrial SMEs in Gipuzkoa, will celebrate its fifth edition on October 21st at the Kursaal Palace in San Sebastián. This initiative provides a platform to reflect on the future of industry, share experiences, and discover strategies for addressing current challenges.
This year's edition will focus on “Competitiveness. Talent. Innovation.” These themes are vital for the evolution of the industrial sector in the coming years, aiming to enhance business competitiveness, manage and attract talent, and integrate innovation as a driver of progress.
The event will bring together companies, experts, and key stakeholders from the industrial ecosystem of Gipuzkoa to contemplate the future of industry, exchange experiences, and gain firsthand knowledge of the practices of companies tackling present-day challenges.
To commence the proceedings, Iván Martén, President of Orkestra, will deliver the opening address. Following this, Isabel Busto, President of ADEGI, Mauricio Arregui, President of the Chamber of Gipuzkoa, Ander Aizpurua, General Director of Kutxa Fundazioa, and Unai Andueza, Deputy for Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, will discuss the future of Gipuzkoan industry.
The second part of the day will highlight talent and technological innovation. In two panel discussions, various companies will share their experiences and learnings in attracting and managing talent, as well as integrating technological innovation into their operations. For the Urola Medio region, companies such as Alberdi Mekanizatuak (talent) and ERLO (Technological Innovation) will participate.
To conclude the congress, David Hurtado, an expert in artificial intelligence and innovation lead at Microsoft, will give a talk on artificial intelligence.
