In Zumaia, the summer parking regulation (TAO) begins tomorrow, September 15th, establishing specific zones and hours.

With the arrival of the summer season, Zumaia's summer parking regulation system (TAO) will be implemented tomorrow, June 15th, and will remain in effect until September 15th.
In high-rotation areas, such as Txomin Agirre pier and Amaia square, and in medium-stay parking zones like GKN, Axular avenue, and the Itsas sports center, payment will be required from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
There are exceptions: at the Ambulatory parking, payment will be required from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; it will be free during other hours and on weekends. Similarly, parking on Izustarri street will be paid from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and free at other times and on weekends.
The remaining areas of the town will be for residents, who can park for free in their designated zones with the valid card. Additionally, there will be two free parking areas: in the Saraune esplanade (next to the sports port) and in the Estazio industrial estate.
Those needing a new parking permit have two options: online via the website zumaia.eus, or at the office opening at Kantauri 7 street (behind the old Moilaberri train station). This office will be open until September 15th, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Furthermore, a boat service connecting Txomin Agirre pier, the Sports Port, and Santiago beach will also be launched. The journey between the Saraune esplanade parking and the pier can be made by boat, costing one euro per person (1.5 euros if going to Santiago), and this year it can be paid using Mugi.
