During the summer months, teenagers will have the opportunity to meet each other, form new relationships, and discover the two main educational resources in Zumaia. To achieve this, the Kale Heziketa program and Gaztegune have jointly organized a special schedule.
The schedule includes several outings. On July 9th, they will visit the open-air swimming pools in Hernani. Following that, on July 16th, they will go to the tree-climbing circuit in Igeldo, for those at least 1.40 meters tall. Finally, on July 21st, participants will have the chance to try paddle surfing in Deba. The outing to Hernani is free for Gaztegune users, while the tree climbing and paddle surfing activities will cost 6 euros each.
Gaztegune has also prepared its own summer program. In addition to regular activities, a special outing is organized to spend the night at the campsite in Etxarre from July 2nd to 3rd, aimed at teenagers from 2nd year of ESO upwards, priced at 22 euros. On July 7th, young people will have the opportunity to participate in the Mitologik Escape Room in Donostia for 5 euros, and on July 14th, an outing to Saturraran beach is planned for 6 euros. To conclude the summer program, a final meal will be held at Gaztegune itself on July 23rd, free of charge.
To participate in all activities, registration must be done in advance, with the deadline being June 13th. Those interested should contact the educators at Gaztegune (688612940 / 633467132) or the Kale Heziketa program (677364379 / 615794935). As the number of places is limited, participants will be selected by lottery if demand exceeds supply.
Furthermore, to provide more detailed information about the outings and allow families to meet the educators, an informative meeting for parents and guardians will be held on June 18th at 7:00 PM in Gaztegune. All details of the summer program will be explained, and any questions will be addressed.
