The Zarautz rowing team has achieved its second victory of the season in the Elantxobeko Andran Ikurriña, dominating the race from start to finish.

Zarautz has claimed its second victory of the season in the inaugural Elantxobeko Andran Ikurriña, held in Elantxobe. The boat known as Enbata dominated the race from beginning to end, finishing eleven seconds ahead of the second-placed team, Hondarribia. Kaiku secured third place again, but significantly behind the top two boats.
Ondarroa won the first heat and narrowly missed out on fourth place, finishing just three seconds behind Deusto. After the first three rounds of the ETE league, Zarautz and Hondarribia have proven to be the strongest teams in the category and strong contenders for the top two spots in the standings, which would grant them a place in the play-off for promotion to the Euskotren Liga.
Zarautz won the opening race in Astillero, and Hondarribia took revenge on Sunday in Pasaia. In Saturday's race, the Zarautz crew led from the starting signal. They completed the first leg with a slim three-second advantage over Ama Guadalupekoa, but on the return leg, benefiting from the characteristic starboard side wave in the Elantxobe racecourse, the team managed by Juanjo Etxarte broke free from their rival's marking to cross the finish line with an eleven-second lead.
Kaiku struggled on Saturday in Elantxobe, losing significant time to the leading two boats. They trailed Zarautz by eleven seconds and conceded another twenty in the latter half of the race. Furthermore, they finished only three seconds ahead of Deusto, with Ondarroa also competing for a spot in the top heat.
