Zarautz Local Police issues 26 fines for reserved parking violations

The Municipal Police conducted 25 checks over the past two months to ensure the proper use of parking spaces for people with reduced mobility.

The Zarautz Local Police has issued a total of 26 fines following controls on parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility, aiming to ensure their proper use.

These actions are part of the campaigns carried out by the Zarautz Municipal Police throughout the year to enhance road safety in the town. Over the last two months, 25 checks have been conducted in Zarautz, inspecting 242 vehicles.
As a result of these controls, 15 fines were issued for parking in these spaces without the corresponding accreditation or with an expired one. Additionally, officers processed another 11 fines related to vehicles circulating without a valid ITV (vehicle inspection) or mandatory insurance.
According to the Zarautz City Council, the Local Police, through these actions, "seeks to guarantee the proper use of reserved spaces and reinforce compliance with traffic regulations".
