The Women's Itzulia, featuring UCI World Tour and Pro Team level teams, will once again pass through Azpeitia this year, during the race scheduled from May 15th to 17th.

This year's Women's Itzulia will once again pass through Azpeitia, as it did two years ago. The race is set to take place between May 15th and 17th, featuring teams from the UCI World Tour and Pro Team categories. The official presentation of the race was held at Zarautz Town Hall.
The first stage of the Itzulia, scheduled for May 15th, will start and finish in Zarautz, with Azpeitia included in its route. Cyclists will arrive in the town from Azkoitia, then traverse the Ibaieder valley, passing through Urrestilla and Nuark, before ascending to Beizama and, from there, to the Santa Ageda pass.
Subsequently, they will proceed from Bidania-Goiatz to Errezil, and on the route from Errezil to Azpeitia, they will climb to Etumeta. Finally, they will return to Zarautz via Aizarna, Aizarnazabal, and the Garate pass to conclude the stage.
