Udaberri Musikala Cycle Kicks Off in Azkoitia with Aire(H)ari Bikotea

The Udaberri Musikala cycle in Azkoitia is set to begin a new edition on May 2nd with a concert by Aire(H)ari Bikotea, taking place at the Santa Cruz Convent starting at 6:30 PM.

The duo, composed of Óscar Rodríguez on harmonium and Ignacio Arakistain on piano, has prepared a special repertoire for the occasion. It will feature works by composers such as F. J. Haydn (Introduction und Allegro aus der Symphonie Nr. 104 in d-Moll), C. Franck (Prélude, fugue et variation), I. Stravinsky (L’Oiseau de feu: IX. Berceuse - X. Finale), and R. Wagner (Vorspiel zur Oper Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg).
This concert marks the opening of the Udaberri Musikala cycle, organized by the Azkoitia City Council with the collaboration of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council. The cycle will continue on May 9th with a performance by the Iberia quartet, and on May 16th, Ainhoa Zubillaga, Juan Laboreria, and Iñaki Salvador will present a concert titled “Musicales con huella”.
The cycle will conclude on May 23rd with a performance by Iberian Brass. All concerts in this program will be held at the Santa Cruz Convent, providing a unique setting for classical music enthusiasts.
