The music groups Saguxar and Ramona's First Evil Boyfriend will hold a concert at Matadeix in Azkoitia next Friday, May 17, at 10:00 PM, with tickets priced at 8 euros.

Behind the Saguxar project is the musician and producer Ane Segurola from Irun. Her first work, titled Sei mila urte, creates a unique atmosphere that traverses various genres. Her compositions reflect images from her dream world, immersing the listener in an ethereal universe through evocative lyrics and ethereal melodies.
Segurola's innovative vision has attracted attention in the Basque Country's music scene, as she has introduced styles uncommon in Euskera, such as ambient, dream pop, trance, and experimental electronic music.
Meanwhile, the band Ramona's First Evil Boyfriend was formed in Azkoitia during the lockdown by the couple Andrea Pozo (Azkoitia, 1997) and Josemari Unanue (Hendaia, 1997). Their initial self-produced works allowed them to participate in programs like Kutxa Kultur and Villasound Bilbao.
In 2022, they released Mnemosyne, a work that blends folk, shoegaze, and pop-rock. They had the opportunity to present this work live in venues such as Atabal (Biarritz), Dabadaba (Donostia), and Taller de Músics 24 (Barcelona). Later, Julen Hidalgo from Azpeitia joined the band.
After taking some time to compose, last year the band members entered Azküe Soinuan (Zarautz) to shape the album Eatxi, which they have recently released. In this work, they have taken a step towards a cleaner and more refined sound, with lyrics in both Euskera and Spanish, while always maintaining their characteristic spontaneity.
