The children's playground in the Urbitarte neighborhood of Azpeitia will soon have a completely new image. The city council will remove the current park and install new play elements: a nest swing, spring riders, and a structure with a slide. The play area in Urbitarte covers 80 square meters. The contract has been awarded to the company Garra and work is already underway. To dismantle the old park, the area will be fenced off, and three parking spaces (those next to the containers) will be unavailable for the next few days.

Garmendi Park Completed. Playgrounds are fundamental for child development, fostering play, movement, and social interaction. Azpeitia offers numerous parks adapted to different age groups. Before the Urbitarte project began, the park in the Garmendi neighborhood was finished and is now available for use.

Looking ahead, the city council also plans to install play elements on the new roof built in front of the swimming pool. Furthermore, they continue to consistently carry out maintenance work on the other parks.
